About Us

Meet the Pyles

We were both born and raised in Louisville and proud of it. We love this city and what it has to offer. We are both from large families that love to cook, each bragging their family recipe was better. Tim's family owned a small bar and grill in the south end of Louisville and Kathy's family owned a small restaurant in Oldham County. Our paths crossed at the University of Kentucky where Kathy was searching for an onion for her father's famous chili recipe at her neighbor's apartment. It was taste at first bite!

We have three "taste testers" in our family. Our daughter Molly and our twin boys, Jake and Tyler. Raising multiples with a three year old taught us how to work as a team. Both of us were employed in the corporate world and searched for a way to balance family and professional lives while doing something we born and raised to do, cook.
